NFP PRODUCES NO REAL MOVEMENT

 

“Seems legit to me!”

Nothing to really report today … over night saw some evaporation in 

premium, but nobody was really expecting this NFP report to be that 

important to the FX markets … surely not anything to do with GBPUSD, 

which has got its own gig going on now … in other words, unless there’s a 

gigantic “sigma” miss, it’s gonna have about 3 minutes effect on the market, 

and then it’s back to biz as usual … and sure enough, it fizzled.

Oil for its part, continues to be plagued by sub $1 ranges, and another week 
of declining volatility … we just have to wait for things to pick up here, or 
it’s a sure losing proposition.
 

We’ll pick it up again Sunday night at the open and go from there … blog
